A fictional civic broadcast from the artificial.black universe. Very digital. Very imaginary. Very fun.
📡 THE CITY IS THE RUNWAY.
THE FUTURE IS DRESSED.
RESISTANCE IS SO LAST SEASON.
CITIZENS OF VERIDION:
Prepare your wardrobes. Secure your chrome. Check your reflective surfaces. And for the love of civic aesthetics, stop wearing beige.
The most important week in the Veridion calendar has arrived.
Not because the Council declared it.
Not because the fashion houses requested it.
Not because Multiversal Records has threatened to turn the entire Spire District into a 14-hour rave.
Veridion Fashion Week happens because Veridion has decided that reality itself requires a wardrobe change.
🖤 ARTIFICIAL.BLACK PRESENTS: VERIDION FASHION WEEK
From Central Spire to Diamond Pier, the city becomes one continuous runway.
The streets become catwalks.
The skyscrapers become dressing rooms.
The holographic billboards become mirrors.
The transit system becomes backstage.
And every citizen becomes a potential model.
Participation is not mandatory.
Looking fantastic is.
⚠️ THIS SEASON’S OFFICIAL SILHOUETTE
NORMAL CLOTHING.
ABNORMAL ENGINEERING.
The fashion authorities of Veridion have confirmed that the future does not require abandoning the clothes you already own.
It simply requires making them considerably stranger.
A standard T-shirt?
Add mesh sleeves.
A hoodie?
Remove the sleeves. Add chrome. Punch holes in it.
Denim?
Ruin it beautifully.
Athletic wear?
Make it so tight and reflective that the city starts mistaking you for infrastructure.
This is not fashion for people who want to disappear.
This is fashion for people who have accepted that the background is no longer safe.
🔩 THE CHROME VEST INITIATIVE
The Department of Civic Appearance has officially classified hooded vests with oversized grommets and chrome hardware as:
“EXTREMELY ENCOURAGED.”
Grommets are not merely holes.
They are architectural opportunities.
Chrome is not merely shiny.
It is government-approved evidence that you have seen the future.
Thread something through it.
Hang something from it.
Leave it empty.
Nobody knows what the holes are for.
That’s the point.
🧟 THE RUSTED WASH DIRECTIVE
This season, Veridion proudly introduces:
RUSTED WASH™
Because apparently clothing no longer needs to look new.
It needs to look like it survived something.
Rusted denim.
Weathered surfaces.
Industrial textures.
Artificially aged fabrics.
Paint-splattered construction.
The aesthetic department has described the look as:
“Post-apocalyptic luxury for people who still have brunch reservations.”
Please do not actually expose your clothing to industrial rust.
Veridion Fashion Week is not responsible for tetanus.
🕸️ MESH OVERRIDE
The traditional sleeve has been declared insufficient.
Artificial.black has therefore authorized the integration of transparent mesh into ordinary garments.
T-shirts may now possess:
Mesh sleeves.
Mesh may extend beyond the conventional sleeve boundary.
Mesh may interact with solid fabric.
Mesh may create the illusion that your arms have entered a different rendering engine.
This is called:
MESH OVERRIDE.
Please remain calm.
Your clothing is functioning normally.
🟢 ARTIFICIAL ATHLETICS
THE HUMAN BODY HAS BEEN OPTIMIZED.
Artificial Athletics enters Veridion Fashion Week with a vision of skin-tight performance wear built around:
Movement.
Reflection.
Visibility.
Urban survival.
Looking completely ridiculous while jogging through a dimensional anomaly.
Imagine reflective circuitry tracing the body.
Neon accents catching the city light.
Technical silhouettes following the architecture of human movement.
The result:
THE HUMAN FORM AS INTERFACE.
At night, Artificial Athletics doesn’t merely reflect Veridion.
It talks back to the city.
💀 HUMAN HARDWARE
The skeleton has been having an incredible season.
Why hide the machinery?
Rib cages.
Spines.
Vertebrae.
Mechanical anatomy.
Human architecture.
Artificial.black asks the only question that matters:
WHAT IF YOUR CLOTHES SHOWED WHAT WAS ALREADY UNDERNEATH?
The answer appears to be:
Very fashionable.
📡 THE VERIDION DRESS CODE
Citizens are reminded that Fashion Week does not require expensive clothing.
It requires commitment to the aesthetic.
You may participate with:
- One black garment
- One strange accessory
- One suspiciously reflective surface
- One piece of clothing that appears to have survived an explosion
- Or absolutely no idea what you’re doing
The latter category is currently experiencing unprecedented growth.
🎛️ MULTIVERSAL RECORDS NIGHT
When the sun disappears behind Central Spire...
The runway changes frequency.
Multiversal Records takes control.
The lights go down.
The bass comes up.
Artificial Athletics enters the dance floor.
Chrome catches the strobes.
Mesh becomes translucent.
Rusted denim meets ultraviolet.
The models stop walking.
They start moving.
Because in Veridion, the runway was never meant to end at the edge of the stage.
It spills into the street.
It follows you onto the last train.
It shows up at an afterparty whose address appears to be changing in real time.
There is no VIP section.
There is only whoever is standing closest to the bass.
Citizens are advised to secure all loose chrome before entering the dance floor.
Lost grommets will not be returned.
📸 PUBLIC IMAGE PROTOCOL
Should you encounter your reflection during Fashion Week:
Stop.
Assess the silhouette.
Adjust something unnecessarily.
Proceed as though you have just been photographed for a publication that does not exist in this dimension.
You are not required to explain your outfit.
You are not required to explain the mesh.
You may be asked to explain why your jacket has seventeen attachment points.
The approved response is:
“Future compatibility.”
📡 FINAL CIVIC NOTICE
Veridion Fashion Week is very digital.
Very imaginary.
And taking itself just seriously enough to be dangerous at brunch.
This is an invitation to experiment.
Rework something.
Style something differently.
Put that strange accessory on.
Build a look for the version of yourself who knows exactly which door leads to the underground runway.
The city is imaginary.
Your participation doesn’t have to be.
🖤 ARTIFICIAL.BLACK
THE CITY IS THE RUNWAY.
THE FUTURE IS DRESSED.
END OF BROADCAST.
WARDROBE CHANGES REMAIN AUTHORIZED.
